Competitive Dance Sport Programs In addition to our Social Dance Programs, Fred Astaire of Mamaroneck also offers courses in competitive dance sport - both American and International styles - taught by professional competitive ballroom dancers from around the world. Practicing the techniques and choreography required by these dance sport styles is a great way to tone and strengthen muscles, and increase your versatility as a dancer. You may want to try dancing with your instructors or with another student at a Fred Astaire Dance Studio regional or national competition. These dance weekends are very exciting and lots of fun. Exhibition Styling Programs Our exhibition styling programs are another way to use your dancing at the studio. Your instructor or a visiting coach will choreograph a theatrical routine for you. You may then perform with your instructor at one of our showcases.
